Billing & Invoicing

Most users bill a sale in under 30 seconds. Type the first two letters of a product name, set the quantity and tap Save — the invoice is numbered, GST calculated and ready to print or share.

Yes. You can switch between GST and non-GST billing per invoice, so unregistered customers or exempt transactions can be billed correctly as well.

You can share each invoice instantly over WhatsApp, SMS, or email — as a PDF link or attachment. You can also print on a thermal printer or a standard A4 printer directly from the app.

Yes — you can add your business logo, change the invoice colour theme, add terms & conditions and include a payment QR code on the invoice. All GST-mandatory fields are always included.

Yes. Create a delivery challan when goods are dispatched, then convert it to a full GST invoice in one tap once delivery is confirmed — no re-entry required.

Yes. You can create separate logins for each staff member with role-based permissions (cashier, manager, owner). Multiple invoices can be raised at the same time from different devices.

GST & Compliance

Yes. eProfitBook generates invoices that meet all GST invoice format requirements — GSTIN, HSN/SAC code, tax breakup (CGST/SGST/IGST), place of supply, and invoice series — from the very first bill.

eProfitBook compiles your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data automatically from your sales and purchase entries. You can export a ready-to-use report and hand it to your CA, or upload it directly to the GST portal.

Yes — all standard slabs (0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) and cess are supported. Each product in your catalogue can carry its own tax rate.

eProfitBook detects whether a transaction is intra-state or inter-state based on the billing and shipping address, and automatically applies CGST+SGST or IGST accordingly.

Inventory

Yes. Every sale, purchase, sales return or purchase return automatically adjusts the stock count. There is no separate stock-update step.

Yes. Set a minimum stock level per product and eProfitBook will alert you when stock falls below that threshold — so you can reorder before running out.

Yes. Products can be set up with multiple units of measure — for example, buying in cases and selling in pieces — with automatic unit conversion.

Yes — you can scan barcodes to add items to an invoice, search products by barcode and print barcode labels for your own products.

Payments

Yes. Every unpaid invoice goes into the party's outstanding ledger. You see a live view of total receivables and can filter by party or by age of the debt.

Open the party's outstanding tab and tap "Send Reminder". The app sends a WhatsApp message with the invoice amount, due date and a payment link — all in one tap.

Yes. A UPI QR code can be included on every invoice. Customers scan it to pay directly to your bank account. The payment can then be marked as received inside eProfitBook.

Security & Data

Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Automatic cloud backups run every time your device is online, so you never lose a bill even if you lose your phone or computer.

No. Your data belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it or use it for any purpose other than running the service for your account.

Billing continues in offline mode with the core features available. All entries made offline sync automatically the moment your internet connection is restored.

Yes. Role-based permissions let you restrict each login to only the modules they need — a cashier can bill but not view reports; a manager can view stock but not edit pricing.

Setup & Migration

Most businesses are billing on the same day they sign up. The one-time setup — adding your GSTIN, business details and item list — typically takes under an hour with our onboarding team's help.

Yes. Our migration team can import your customer list, product catalogue, opening stock and even historical sales data from most billing software. Contact us before signing up and we'll confirm compatibility.

No. If you can type a product name and tap Save, you can use eProfitBook. Our onboarding call walks you through every screen, and our WhatsApp support is always available for questions.
